1. About Us
Prajna Institute of Alternative Healing (also referred to as “The Prajna Institute of Alternative Healing”, “the Institute”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is South Africa’s pioneering academy for internationally accredited qualifications in alternative complementary healing. We also operate the Manjushri Healing Center, providing holistic healing practices in Gauteng, South Africa.
Accreditation is provided by the IAO (International Association of Organisations) — Gauteng, South Africa.

2. Services Offered
The Institute provides the following services:
- Accredited academic programmes in Alternative Complementary Healing Energy (A.C.H.E.) at Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate levels.
- Short courses in alternative and complementary healing.
- Holistic healing practices and consultations through the Manjushri Healing Center.
- Informational and educational content published on our website and social media channels.
These services are intended for adults aged 18 years and older. We do not offer services to minors. See Section 10 for further details.
3. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website or registering for any course or service, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
- You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
- You agree to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, incorporated herein by reference.
4. Enrolment and Registration
4.1 Application Process
Enrolment in any programme requires submission of an application form, along with all requested supporting documentation, including but not limited to: proof of identity, academic transcripts, and any prerequisite qualifications. The Institute reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its sole discretion.
4.2 Accuracy of Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. Submission of false, misleading, or fraudulent information may result in immediate cancellation of enrolment.
4.3 Confirmation of Enrolment
Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of written acceptance from the Institute. Confirmation will be sent to the email address provided during registration.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Ownership
All content published on this website and within course materials — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio recordings, video recordings, course outlines, and learning resources — is the intellectual property of the Prajna Institute of Alternative Healing or its licensors and is protected under applicable South African and international copyright law.
5.2 Permitted Use
You may access and download materials for your own personal, non-commercial study purposes. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from any content without prior written consent from the Institute.
5.3 Student Work
You retain copyright in original work you create as part of your studies. By submitting work to the Institute, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, and evaluate such work for academic and administrative purposes.
6. User Conduct and Acceptable Use
When using our website or services, you agree not to:
- Post, upload, or transmit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, offensive, discriminatory, or harmful.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website, systems, or databases.

8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Prajna Institute of Alternative Healing, its founders, staff, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:

10. Age Restriction — No Services for Minors
Our website, programmes, and services are intended exclusively for individuals aged 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from or provide services to persons under 18 years of age. If we become aware that a minor has submitted personal information or enrolled in a programme, we will take steps to delete such information and cancel any enrolment.

Certificates are issued upon successful completion of all programme requirements, including attendance and assessments. The Institute reserves the right to withhold certification pending fulfilment of all academic obligations.
12.2 Accreditation
Our programmes are accredited by the IAO (International Association of Organisations). Accreditation status may be subject to periodic renewal. The Institute does not guarantee recognition of qualifications by specific employers, government bodies, or other institutions outside the scope of IAO accreditation.
12.3 Academic Integrity
Students are expected to uphold the highest standards of academic integrity. Plagiarism, cheating, falsification of credentials, or any other form of academic dishonesty will result in immediate disciplinary action, which may include expulsion from the programme.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Gauteng, South Africa.
For visitors or students from outside South Africa, any mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may also apply, without prejudice to the foregoing.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
