The Prajna Institute of Alternative Healing was established by Tilly and Bavisha Naransamy, a dynamic mother and daughter duo. Their journey unfolded after years of immersing themselves in diverse holistic and alternative modalities. Through this exploration, they observed a prevalent emphasis on theory and history within existing programs, often lacking practical applicability in real-life scenarios. Direct experiences with clients exposed the challenges faced when implementing these modalities effectively.

Driven by a realisation of the urgent need for alternative therapies, particularly in the aftermath of the pandemic, Tilly and Bavisha recognized the significance of collaborative efforts. Understanding that they couldn’t navigate this path alone, they embarked on a mission to train healers with a holistic perspective—one that prioritises the fundamental reason for healing: to assist people. For them, it transcends competition, superiority of one therapy over another, or the antiquity of a particular modality. It’s about providing solace in healing, enhancing lives, comprehending the root causes of ailments and trauma, and instilling faith, hope, and control in individuals.

At Prajna, the focus is on teaching healers to embark on their own healing journey using the tools provided. The philosophy revolves around empowering healers to pass on these tools to their clients, creating a ripple effect of healing. The belief is that there’s no singular right or wrong way to heal. Armed with comprehensive tools, positive intentions, a compassionate heart, and a genuine desire to help, every healing approach becomes valid. Prajna’s healers embrace diversity, recognizing the multidisciplinary, multicultural, and multi belief nature of humanity. The institute stands firm in its belief in pure white light and is unwaveringly dedicated to the principles it imparts.

We firmly believe that healing is a collaborative process that involves not only the practitioner but also the active participation of the individual seeking healing. Prajna’s philosophy is grounded in the belief that knowledge is a powerful tool for transformation, and by imparting comprehensive, practical skills, we empower healers to facilitate positive change in the lives of others. Our commitment to ethical practices, continuous growth, and a deep respect for the interconnectedness of all beings forms the bedrock of our healing philosophy.
