Tilly Naransamy
Tilly Naransamy, the esteemed Founder and Director of The Prajna Institute of Alternative Healing, embodies a lifelong commitment to holistic wellness and continuous learning. With a diverse educational background, Tilly’s journey began with studies in archaeology, early childhood development, child psychology, and art therapy. However, her passion for healing led her to explore various modalities, ranging from craniosacral therapy and energy healing to traditional Chinese medicine, Ayurveda, Tibetan medicine, brain gym, and yoga, among others.
Rooted in her Hindu upbringing and influenced by her practice of Buddhism, Tilly’s holistic approach to healing is deeply enriched by her cultural heritage and spiritual beliefs. Growing up in a family of traditional healers who practiced Indian and African medicine, Tilly was immersed in a rich tapestry of healing traditions from an early age. This upbringing instilled in her a profound reverence for the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit, shaping her approach to holistic healing.
Driven by a philosophy that learning knows no bounds, Tilly believes in the perpetual pursuit of knowledge and the constant evolution of healing practices. Her unwavering dedication to personal and professional growth inspires both students and practitioners alike, fostering a culture of lifelong learning within The Prajna Institute. Bavisha Naransamy
Bavisha Naransamy, the esteemed Lead Lecturer and Student Coordinator at The Prajna Institute of Alternative Healing, brings a wealth of diverse experiences and a profound dedication to nurturing the growth and development of students. Bavisha embarked on her educational journey by pursuing studies in hospitality management, followed by a foray into the world of patisserie. However, her calling for healing and holistic wellness led her to transition into the field of art therapy, where she worked with children while simultaneously studying child psychology.
Driven by a deep-rooted passion for holistic healing, Bavisha furthered her studies in naturopathy, delving into various modalities such as energy healing, nutrition, counselling, and crystal healing, among others. Her commitment to personal and professional growth is evident in her continuous pursuit of knowledge, particularly in the realm of energy healing, where she seeks to expand her expertise further. As the Lead Lecturer at The Prajna Institute, Bavisha’s greatest joy lies in imparting knowledge to students, guiding them through each module, and witnessing their transformative journey of improvement and growth.

Dr. Kishantum Naransamy
Dr. Kishantum Naransamy, our esteemed Resident Medical Module Developer at The Prajna Institute of Alternative Healing, brings a wealth of expertise and a distinguished academic background to our institution. Dr. Kishantum embarked on her academic journey at WITS University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Genetics and Developmental Biology, as well as Microbiology and Biotechnology. Her passion for unravelling the complexities of biological systems led her to pursue further studies, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Honors (BSc Hons) in Genetics and Developmental Biology.
Driven by a commitment to holistic healthcare, Dr. Kishantum ventured to China to pursue her medical education at Soochow University, where she dedicated six years to earn her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. With a solid foundation in both Western and Eastern medical philosophies, Dr. Kishantum plays a pivotal role in developing our Anatomy and Physiology Module and consulting on other medical modules, such as Traditional Chinese Medicine.
